Let's Laugh a Lot !!!

How fun is this?  A great Man Card and he better have a terrific sense of humor.  The background is fun to do and here are the supplies you will need or improvised to make it work.

Bring out your old plastic templates that you have stored in your drawers, remember the color tool box and components, your dabbers and of course something to do dry embossing lines.  I use my Scor-Pal for my lines.

It is time reach into your memory from years ago when you first started to stamp.  Blending!
I chose three ink pads for this technique.  Green, Mango, Brown
Using your colorbox tool or anything else that you might have - sponge, cotton ball -  ink it up and drag it across the template where you see the cardstock. (I used only two colors) this is when the plastic template comes into play and makes things so easy!
If you don't have a template, use a ruler or another piece of paper or a straight edge.
Do all one color first then your next color and be sure to move the template where you didn't place ink already.  That way you won't muddy up the stripes. You should see two colors only and you might see some of your cardstock too.  It is perfect!
Lightly blend your two colors with the colorbox tool with a very light coat of the two inks and blend it all over be sure it is a LIGHT TOUCH.  So you don't have any real definite showing of lines.  Finally, pick out another color ink pad that will show and compliment your colors - a bit darker.  Don't do anything yet, though.
Now it is time for you to show off your dry embossing skills, especially if you don't have a scor-pal.  Dry emboss the other side of the card so the lines will pop out onto the face of the card only.  If you don't have a scor-pal, again, use a ruler or straight edge.
Here is the FINAL part - take that third color and go over the popped-out lines so the LINES will show up.  That is it!

Hint - it is best to line your card inside because you don't want to show your dry embossing lines.
