Have you ever sent out Happy New Year cards? Well, I do and have been for many years. It is also so convenient when the surprise Christmas cards comes in the mail that you might have forgotten to send a Christmas card to that particular person. A Happy New Year card is also great for not just your close friends but your associates, how about the doctor's office who takes such great care of you, the mail person who always delivers your mail on time or takes that extra step in a hand delivery (especially if you live in the country and do not have mail dropped off at your door), it could also be your financial and attorney people who takes care of your personal affairs. When a Happy New Year card is received it starts everyone's new year off grand, so think about it because you still have time to make them and send them out this year!
My New Year card is made with black and silver card stock including the sparkling silver. My trusty tools are the Cricut Expression with the cartridge Designer's Calendar along with my Cricut Design Studio. The Cuttlebug with the folder Spots and Dots including the Spellbinders Nestabilities Decorative Elements Beaded Ovals. The dry embossing is only on the top half of the card and I elected not to cover the inside of the card because this pattern enhances my design on the inside as well as the outside of the card. The inks are black, silver and clear embossing, which of course, I embossed in Black. Added some sparkling black dark multicolor glitter glue for accenting. The stamp sets that I used are from The Angel Company and Stamp' Up. My card size is for the number 10 envelope which is a legal size envelope and it is still just one normal mailing stamp to mail this card.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you continue to visit!
Sincerely,
